Safety Features of the Very Low HCG Diet

The HGC diet appears difficult, but it is not, really. There are challenges to sure, not insurmountable, though. The hunger pangs, the disorientation, mood swings and headaches are understandable given the meager amount of calories allowed, just 500 calories on a daily basis, but the HCG program has effective ways of controlling them. There is something you have to do, though, and this is to make sure that you observe the HCG program protocols the best way you can.

To make sure you comply with the required daily amount of calories, there’s a HCH diet recipe provided. The original diet recipe formulated by Dr Simeon, the creator of the HCG program, is found in the book “Pounds and Inches”. HCG websites have a copy of it.

The HCG recipe is mostly fiber, protein and liquids. There’s good reason for this. The diet is paired with the HCG hormone known for its ability to increase the metabolic rate and curb food cravings. These powers of the HCG hormone, though, are inactive upon absorption and needs to be activated. The detox diet which cleanses the body of toxins is the trigger of these powers. Thus, there is really no way you can deviate from the diet, no matter how insignificant you think the deviation is. It will be costly. Without the abilities of the hormone, it will not be possible for you to endure the hunger pangs and there’s a possibility of physical breakdown. 

It sounds dangerous this talk about extreme hunger pangs and possible physical breakdown. Of course, they are easily prevented. You really only have to follow the diet, which should not be difficult. How can it be difficult when once you have activated the powers of the hormone, the hunger pangs and the other side effects are effectively controlled?

The challenge is in being able to take the first few days as that’s the most difficult time. You body is just starting the very limited and it’s expected that the sudden drop in calories will have great impact if not on your body then on your psyche. After all, you’re not used to small helpings and breakfasts utterly devoid of solid food and that’s precisely the kind of ordeal the diet has in store for you.

The program though has everything covered. To reduce the intensity of your discomforts during the first few days, it has what it calls as the two days fat-loading period. For two days you are to consume nothing but fatty foods. Why? It adds to the calories already in your body, making it easier for you to adjust to the low calorie diet at the same time ensuring the fast acting metabolism does not eat up muscles as well.

Now you see that the HCG diet, very calorie it might is really safe, safer than most diets even those more calories.
